John Primer is one of Chicago´s greatest blues guitar players in the style of his teacher Sammy Lawthorn, and also a great slide guitar player in the style of Muddy Waters and Elmore James! On this CD he plays mostly in open D-tuning in the style of Elmore, but there is also more than a little bit from John himself! Enjoy
