Carl Ludwig Hübsch and Ignaz Schick had been aware of each other for quite some time, but met in person only a few years ago. They connected instantly. In summer 2022, they met at Hübschs estate in Cologne and spent an afternoon improvising. During this recording session, both artists limited themselves to their novel sound sources: extended voice (Hübsch) and voltage-controlled sampler (Schick).
