An open and shut case. Ungrateful 17-year-old foster son was caught in the act of raping the underage daughter of his benefactor, veteran Baltimore Narcotics detective, Elliot Bowers; or at least that's how Bowers reported it. Overworked, the Rape Squad requests the loan of Homicide detective Cal Hopkins and his partner to conduct the routine follow-up investigation. But, good cops can't let stand bad answers to disturbing questions about their "brother-in-blue," the victim," and the "real" crime... or crimes? Their probing into the alleged rape uncovers a trail of kinky sex, drugs, domestic violence, corruption, and finally, vengeful murder. but, in the end, comes justice and recompense.
