The ten members of my mother's family ended up in Houston, Texas, to better their lives, and their religious belief has been one thing that her four sisters, three brothers, and parents could always rely on to keep them together. Members of our family have been willing to make the ultimate sacrifice when called upon from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and now one of my nephew's, son is going to be deployed to Iraq. I now have forty-two nephews, and nieces that have had that sense of belonging nurtured into their lives. The dynamics of the relationship that exists between each one of us in our family, and our religious belief has proven to be one thing that we all can count on to be there for each one of us in the family. No matter where we are, or how long we have seen each other; nothing can change what we mean to each other. Life goes on with our family being no further than knowing that we have an unspoken promise that they will be there for me in as much as I will be there for them when they need me.
