Amy Westover is just finishing college when she loses her parents in a plane crash. Her grandmother Eleanor is all she now has left. Michael Quinn has spent his early life on a ranch near Corpus Christi, Texas. He comes from a hard working family in the construction business. Amy has visions of this man from Texas. Michael experiences the same phenomenon, dreaming of a pretty young woman he doesn't know. They meet by chance on a bike ride where Amy becomes the target of assassins sent by her attorney who is looting her inheritance. Michael becomes her protector, tied to her by this telepathic communication.
