The year is 4000 B. C. And with the not too long ago extinction of Dinosaurs, Earth is now overrun by caveman savages. There are human beings living on a now ecologically struggling Mars, where their technology is far more advanced than ours will ever be. It also chronicles the escapades of one Sera Cullver, who is in fact the only hope for the dying planet. As a child she was a prodigy, who now at the age twenty-one has always known she was different from others, because as far back as she could remember she was always plagued by the same dream. The dream warns her of a dark force that is fast approaching and with it the imminent destruction of her planet, as well as a presence from her past that threatens to destroy her. So with the help of two others, Mark Chase and Meg Foster, they are caught in a race against time to save a world that is already doomed.
