A man tries to survive doing business in the sometimes violent urban streets, while grappling with the demons of his past, and he begins to question the loyalty of those around him including those whom he loves. Lou has been trying for many years to get out of the street life in New Orleans, but for some reason it keeps luring him back. Only this time he finds himself flirting with death, answering questions about his volatile past, and questioning those whom he loves the most. All of this, while coming to the realization that he has been Dodging Bullets his entire life.
