Struggles are part of life. They become habit once you are used to taking them as challenges. Some people falter and breakdown while the rest stand up and fight against them. Joyice was one of those characters that never faltered in her challenges. She held her nerves, picked up her broken dreams, assembled her courage, and fought against every odd. Joyice reminds me of my own struggles in life. She motivates me to fight against the hierarchy that has plagued and pushed women behind the veil of ignorance. There are millions of women that cannot spread their arms or cover their face to cry out their pain. It reminds me every morning to wake up and write down about the inhibitions of women's rights in conservative orders around the world. I want to be their words, their expressions, and I want to bring them forward. I want the world to know that amongst those diminished lives is one that is willing to explain her side of the story. Joyice is her story.
