A Shropshire Lad and Other Poems - Arcturus Classics
A. E. Housman
First published in 1896, A. E. Housman's A Shropshire Lad is joined by some of his later poems. Shaped by national pride and nostalgia, the collection pays homage to the rural landscape of England while showing the fractures left by various conflicts, and explores youth, love and loss.
