Karen had it made: loving husband, two great kids, upper middle class lie. Then Derrin, her old boyfriend, wants to get back into her life. Her husband, Ken, a County Prosecutor, tries to convict two cult killers. The cult leader threatens their daughter. "Crimestopper," an anonymous vigilante, demands than Ken send Dan, his best friend and boss, to jail. Suddenly life becomes very complicated and very dangerous. Deciding to not tell Ken about Derrin's appearance, Karen helps Ken with the "Cult Guys" trial and with the clues implicating Dan. Soon everyone is after them.
