Emily Bronte (1818-1848) was the middle Bronte sister. She was a novelist and poet best remembered for her novel Wutheiring Heights published in 1847. This classic nineteenth-century English novel is set in the wild moor country of Yorkshire. Mr. Lockwood and Ellen "Nelly" Dean. are the two narrators. Lockwood rents a house from Heathcliff who lives at Wuthering Heights. While staying with Heathcliff Lockwood had a dream in which Catherine Earnshaw's ghost wants to get into the house.
