When two divers hear about the manatees and the dangers they are facing, they travel to Florida to see how they can help.

As they swim beneath the surface, the divers learn that the sea cows that feel like an elephant are incredibly curious and gentle creatures who love human companionship. As soon as the divers begin scratching a manatee, he rolls over on his back. But their fun-filled day is soon ruined as a careless boater speeds by, endangering the lives of the kind and charming creatures. Determined to help the manatees, the divers call on their friend, the Sawfish, who saves the day!
