The Block Ryan Aarset

One morning, when a four-foot high block of what looks to be solid gold appears on the family porch of a mountain home, it is up to the man of the house to handle it. But he only has three days to figure out what to do, as circumstances are forcing the family out of their home. His wife wants the block moved off the porch, the kids want to play with it, and a mysterious banker has spotted the block and is offering a deal: again, a deal that is only good for three days. Follow the characters of this short, modern day fable as one man sets his will to beat the odds and save his family, or lose it all.
