Memories from after the War Volume II
Aloysius Pappert
Aloysius Pappert story of his years as PoW in Russia's infamous labor camps is a gripping and emotionally charged testimony to survival under the most harrowing conditions. His leadership and his unshakable faith in God helped him and the men under his command to overcome the most desperate situations when their survival was very much in doubt. His courage and his open display of the power of his prayers even moved the most cruel of his oppressors to pay him their reluctant respect. His is a story of great suffering and also of the final triumph of faith and character over adversity!
