This book was written to effectively assist believers in Jesus Christ gain a thorough Scriptural understanding of the Spiritual gifts identified in Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4. The intent is not that we would gain additional intellectual knowledge to fill our minds or fuel or debates but that we would be able to recognize the Spiritual gifts in ourselves and others and put them to use serving God. A Spiritual gifts profile is included at the end of the book. Even though there is no Scriptural reference indicating we must use any type of questionnaire in order to determine our gifts, this man-made tool can be a useful starting place. Always ultimately rely on prayer and the Spirit to guide you concerning all Spiritual things. The meat of Scripture is provided here and we trust the Holy Spirit completely to enlighten us and develop truths in our hearts.
