Observing the Fast and Celebrating Naw-Ruz Around the World
Melissa Lopez Charepoo
This book is the continuation of: Celebrating Ayyám-i-Há Around the World. The Fast is a special period of restraint observed in the last month of the Bahá'í year. It is preceded by the joyous days of Ayyám-i-Há and followed by the celebration of Naw-Rúz, the Bahá'í New Years. Through simple, melodic rhymes, this book intends to teach the meaning, purpose, and spiritual atmosphere the Fast and Naw-Rúz creates around the world. Over 24 countries and 20 languages are represented in both books combined (Celebrating Ayyám-i-Há Around the World and Observing the Fast & Celebrating Naw-Rúz Around the World).
