Child's Play Evangeline Auld

Child's Play is simply a record and a celebration of many golden moments of pure joy in being young. Looking back I wonder at how so much fun and satisfaction was 'home-made' by children taking up the challenge of entertaining themselves. My family moved frequently from town to town, school to school, but we were always secure in our family group. Times were often very tough, but thankfully we were invariably tougher. We bounced back with our sense of humour intact. I am truly grateful for my unusual, sometimes chaotic and stressful, but never, never boring childhood.
