Clowns on Parade
Cathy Wiggins
Complete patterns for all eight clowns, plus an imp of a monkey, are given. Read the individual biographies for each character and find instructions for adding three-dimensional elements, embellishments, and quilting motifs, inspired by each distinct personality. The 8 inch x 10 inch clown patterns can easily be enlarged to the 18 inch x 24 inch size in the original quilt or larger. Try Cathy's fusible-appliqué method or choose your favorite technique. In addition to quilts, these clowns are the perfect focal point for a tote, floor pillow, growth chart, or for your next project.
