About the Author: Belle Estep's parents were born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Kentucky. Her family owned a seventy-five-acre tobacco farm, with neighbors that raised and raced thoroughbred horses. Each summer Belle and her seven siblings would spend time working on the farm. When she was eighteen years old, she began writing Sugar Camp, incorporating the experiences of her younger years. Belle is currently at work on a sequel to the Ellis Family Saga, A New Tomorrow.
