SPREADING THE FLAME OF THE FIRST CENTURY

This commentary shows that the Bible's applicability to the lives of its people has not diminished...we can mould a culturally-and historically-informed awareness of God and Scripture.

-Dr Samantha Mosha

Author, New Testament Theology: Identity & I-deology

What if more Christians caught the flame that started in the book of Acts?

The sequel to the Gospel of Luke-the book of Acts -is a bio-narrative of how ordinary people became extraordinary by their personal encounter with the Holy Spirit.

In this commentary, Caribbean Theologian and New Testament Scholar, Dr. Delano Vincent Palmer, helps Tertiary Level Theological students to discover:

How we, too, can be a part of the transformative work that began in the First Century. The love of God in concrete examples. A better understanding of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. A bibliography of the work of Caribbean Scholars. Evidence of the work of the Caribbean Church in the expansion of Christianity.

This commentary is a must-read text capturing a most exciting episode of history, as we witness a band of men and women turn their world right-side up and how we can do the same today.
