This animated motion picture script asks the question - What happens when a corned beef, "Bertingham III'' and a cabbage, "Beginagassa", fall in love the day before St Patrick's Day Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner? With imminent demise in their future, Burt and Begina take things into their own hands - they will not succumb to the butcher's knife or the boiling pot without a fight! The star-crossed lovers implement a public relations scenario whereby corned beefs and cabbages become essential to America's well-being, specifically, cabbage wind power will turn the propellers that operate the turbines that create electricity - and fatty corned beefs that exercise to become lean, so as to present before America's youth, the need to exercise and get rid of the fat! Renewable energy and less fat - an unbeatable solution! The obstacle? Shaughnessy, owner of "Shaughnessy's Irish Pub" - who has plans to chop, slice, boil and smear them with burning hot Chinese mustard before serving them up! Their victory? Corned beef and cabbage is replaced as the traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner with salami and Brussel sprouts!
