Welcome back to Hell, Missouri. A town where no one can escape the never-ending paranormal phenomena that continues to expand. Three months after facing off with the chameleon, horror novelist Philip Solomon is working on publishing his latest book after finally defeating his writer's block. Just when he starts to think that another supernatural event is more than unlikely to occur, a dense cloud appears above, engulfing the entire town into perpetual darkness. Soon after, bodies start to pile up, seemingly from suicides. Sheriff Ridley enlists Philip as a volunteer deputy to help him get to the bottom of the mysterious incidents. What they uncover is beyond even Philip's extensive imagination.
