No Rights
Aida Dawson
NO RIGHTS questions what freedom is. It's a coming of age tale about a young Tajik girl tragically hit by a car, then as she recovers in the hospital has to worry about war just outside the hospital walls. This girl's life spirals into depression thanks to an oppressive government, abusive family, and overall terror just from living in that country. The politics in almost every aspect are corrupt, the girl is getting hurt more and more, and death is waiting around almost every corner for her. The sad thing is this is happening to millions of women all over the country.
