Blackfoot, Idaho, is home of the Idaho Potato Museum and is also the highest potato-producing community per capita in the world. The farmers pool their resources to run the the Southeast Idaho Potato Council. All is utopian in Blackfoot until our villain, Sparky, takes control of the SIPC and the town! The henchman, Hubba, and his gang of goons, swindle every last potato farm in the area, save one. A single family, the Ibagurens, mount the most courageous, albeit unconventional, defense. They fend off a barrage of attacks to save the family farm that they built, their town, and in the process ironically discover a whole new way of life.
