The Crown Princess, Anarosia, has seen a vision of the future. A future in which her country is on the verge of destruction, being threatened by outside forces and deteriorating from within. A future that she is responsible for. Though she's been told the future cannot be changed, Anarosia cannot bear the thought of being the cause of her country's ruin. She determines the only way to prevent the future she foresaw is to defect from the throne and get as far away as she can. For a time, her plan seems to work, but the future cannot be changed, and her attempt to change it may be the very thing that causes the destruction she foresaw.
