'I was told this story after a huge romp on the beach with a handsome tall black shaggy dog called Jet. We had only just met on Stumers Creek beach in Queensland, Australia. The story was very personal for him and I felt honoured that he trusted me enough to share it. He told me the puppies in the story would be named Faith & Lucky by their first owners. I wondered if their names held a clue as to how the story might turn out.' Lillie, a rescue dog herself, shares a story she was told, after a run on the beach, by a handsome Labradoodle called Jet. Full of surprises, giggles, tears and love, this book is dedicated to all the animals across the world who have found their forever homes and to those who still wait.
