The Water Fairy Tribe is rejoining Fairydom after cutting itself off generations ago-and is releasing thousands of surface fairy prisoners. Among the surface tribes, the announcement that they will be reunited with loved ones long thought dead has evoked a passionate response.

Crown Prince Isaac of the Wood Fairies would love to make Lady Cassidy of the Water Fairies his wife-and future queen. Although she worries this will anger many of his tribe, he is confident that he knows a way to help others see her for the valiant, honorable woman she is.
