It's only a few short years since my confrontation with Uncle Joe on the Algarve but I, Tony Smith, am now perfectly happy with my life and with my new partner. That is ... until tragedy strikes and once again I find myself all alone in the world. A return to the U. K. appears the obvious escape with a promise of solitude, an opportunity to indulge myself with more than a few drinks and maybe if I'm given the chance perhaps an occasional encounter with the opposite sex. There are thousands of miles of inland waterways dissecting the country from end to end and you might very well convince yourself as I did that somewhere moored up along a grassy bank of some ancient cut that you would be able to find the peace and quiet that I desperately craved. You would however be sadly mistaken. Because unfortunately, once you've crossed swords with Joe Baxter there is no escape ... ever! The man is a menace. There is no hiding place. He will hunt you down. He will stop at nothing. He will do everything in his power to destroy you and he will, yes he most definitely will... have his revenge.
