Pandora
Henry James
Henry James tells of Otto Vogelstein's voyage aboard the Donau, a ship that runs the route from Bremen to New York. In this way, the young and reputed German Count will meet Pandora Day, an American woman of incredible beauty who will soon fall in love. After a brief conversation with her, the official warns that the social status of the young woman is not the most suitable for a damsel who wants at all costs. Shortly afterwards their roads are separated upon arrival at the port of New York. Otto gives up his chance to conquer her, but fate brings them back together during an event in Washington.
