A book about the use of information technology by the construction sector in Botswana. Information and Communication technology has impacted the way organisations work. The adoption of state of the art form of ICTs has the potential of increasing productivity within a project scope; this includes avoidance of delays, proper cost management and maintained project quality. The benefits of ICT has been discussed in this research, it has been found that, employing the new technologies available in the construction industry comes with benefits, even though some barriers exists which hinder the good implementation of ICT in construction, there is still good opportunity for Botswana construction sector to seek the advantage of these developments. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the use of Information and Communication Technology by the construction sector in Botswana. Barriers to the implementation of these systems were also discussed.
