This book was written almost non-stop during two and a half months in 2001 after Elaine and I returned from our six and a half year sojourn in Mexico. My intention was to record everything that had happened to us during those tumultuous Mexico years in which a new, extensive branch of our family tree came into being, as accurately and truthfully as I could recall them.
