Fate happens to everyone. When they happened to Mark they offered him an apprenticeship as their Messenger. After thousands of years of neglect, New Gods have arisen, causing the Auditors to remove the Earth from the Universal Union. Earth is up for grabs at the Rite of Duel. Mark journeys to the past and future worlds to try and undo these neglectful mistakes. With Brigit, Mark treks through the Underworld to find ancient heroes to fight new gods at this clash, however, he is completely unprepared to be the Messenger and releases the Four Horsemen who are now focussing on Musical Theatre. Mark is grimly aware each time he travels through time, he moves further and further away from the woman he loves. At least he would if Brigit would let him. This is part one in a fantasy- Sci Fi- Time Travelling- Romantic- Comedy where unprepared protagonists deal ineptly with belligerent forces and gods beyond their control.
