Young People Worries Funke Smith
Young People Worries
Funke Smith
This book is a firsthand account of young people from different countries; their individual anxieties and worries, and how they are coping with these issues. Youths are growing up in a rapidly changing world, and very complex personal and family circumstances. These changes and environments exert significant pressures on young people all over the world. In certain societies, there are family, social, group, or government structures available for young people to help in dealing with some of the uncertainties that these scenarios bring but even in the most developed societies, youths are struggling to cope on their own. This book allows young people interviewed to share their worries, fears, hope and anxieties for the benefit of other young people across the world. Young people are encouraged to reach out to their peers, parents, support groups, professionals and other available supports when they need to talk to someone, or when they struggle with any personal circumstance.
