Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series

The Blue Note Classic Vinyl Reissue series is a continuation of the highly acclaimed Blue Note 80 Vinyl Reissue series, which began in 2019 in celebration of Blue Note Records' 80th anniversary. This new series offers reissues of exceptional quality in standard packaging at affordable prices. Each release is carefully mastered by Kevin Gray of Cohearent Audio and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal Media in Germany. Whenever possible, analogue sources are used, allowing Gray to master directly from the original master tapes.

Curated by Don Was and Cem Kurosman, the Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series includes a wide selection. It revisits the most famous classics from the glory days of the 1950s and 60s, but it also dives deeper to explore the label's rich history, spanning eight decades and encompassing different eras and styles.
