Since the release of her debut album "Essentials" in 2019, 33-year-old Danish singer, songwriter and producer Erika de Casier has built an impressive fan base that has grown steadily with the release of 2021's "Sensational", Erika's first album on the prominent label 4AD.

Since then, Erika has performed at some of the biggest festivals around the world, written songs for global pop stars (NewJeans) and appeared as a guest vocalist on hyped dance tracks (Muura Masa, Shygirl). But when it comes to Erika de Casier's new album, she wants you to forget the hype about her as "the new rising star of the North" or "up-and-coming Alt-Pop star". And leave those thoughts at the door. She may have gained a huge new audience over the past three years and worked with a lot of high-profile collaborators (Dua Lipa, Blood Orange, Eartheater, etc.), but as the album title suggests, she's still the same old Erika de Casier. Still.

"Still" is a natural extension of previous de Casier albums, with Erika's idiosyncratic mix of sumptuous electronica and delicious R&B now delving deeper into her signature sound. Erika's songwriting is more powerful and universal than before and she utilises her skills as a producer, producing other people's vocals for the first time (They Hate Change, Shygirl, Blood Orange).

On the album, Erika has also invited new collaborators. This means that the album was created in collaboration with live musicians in addition to the samples she used. The new collaborators include Jonathan Jull Ludvigsen, Carl Emil Johansen, Niels Kirk, Christian Rhode Lindinger, Nick Léon, Kirsten Nyhus Janssen and Tobias Sachse on drums, synths, bass guitar, etc.
