Stone Sour | Audio Secrecy (15th Anniversary Editions)
Stone Sour's third studio album, Audio Secrecy from 2010, returns in new, remastered and expanded anniversary editions on 2LP and deluxe 3CD. The album marked an important chapter in the band's career and showed a more melodic and emotional side of the American hard rock group led by Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor.
Now the album gets new life with a new remaster and bonus tracks.
On Audio Secrecy, Stone Sour united their signature heavy guitar riffs and explosive energy with strong melodies, personal lyrics, and big rock ballads. The album was produced by Nick Raskulinecz and includes fan favorites such as “Say You'll Haunt Me”, “Hesitate”, “Digital (Did You Tell)”, and “Mission Statement”. The release was a major international success and debuted at number 6 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album was also dedicated to Slipknot bassist Paul Gray, who passed away earlier that same year.
The expanded 2LP edition contains the original album plus four bonus tracks on the fourth side of the vinyl. Among the highlights is the previously unreleased song “Full of Empty”, which Corey Taylor has provided with new lyrics and re-recorded for the anniversary release, as well as “Saturday Mourning” in a new 2026 mix.
The 3CD deluxe edition goes even deeper into the making of the album. In addition to the remastered album and four extra tracks, it contains an entire disc of rare demos, early versions, alternative mixes, and previously unreleased material. The third CD features the concert recording Live in Brighton, recorded on November 7, 2010, during the band's Audio Secrecy tour. Here, Stone Sour delivers an intense live performance with both songs from the album and classics like “Through Glass”, “Bother”, and “30/30-150”.
Both anniversary editions are presented with new artwork by P.R. Brown and liner notes by Ryan J. Downey.
