11 track CD plus three bonus music videos on DVD (NTSC/Region 0). Hal's much anticipated eponymous debut album is the sound of four young Irishmen by-passing the computerized conveyor belt pop culture production line of 21st century music to create a perfect piece of pop joy. A sublime, inimitable collection containing their glut of delicate, potent melodies shot through with a young man's preoccupation with love in all it's myriad incarnations. Hal features the singles 'Play the Hits', 'What a Lovely Dance' and 'Worry About the Wind'. They cite Harry Nilsson, Brian Wilson and Van Morrison as direct influences on their classic yet quirky 70s west-coast FM-pop-influenced sound. The videos are 'Play The Hits', 'Worry About The Wind' and 'What A Lovely Dance'. EQ. 2005.
