The Best of Rustone captures the raw, regional sound of one of Louisiana's fascinating independent labels. Recorded in and around Houma in the 1960s, these 16 tracks bring together R&B, rock 'n' roll, doo-wop and swamp-pop from Willie West, Emmet & The Jades, The Scotchtones, Bobby Jay and Jack & The Rippers. A rare snapshot of South Louisiana's vibrant local music scene, available on CD.
