Man-brook-phil Ziz

Latino Philadelphia based hip-hop artist Ziz, was born and raised on the tough of streets of New York City's Lower East Side and Brownsville. Growing up Ziz was influenced and inspired by his older brother's Run-DMC and LL Cool J records. Ziz has spent years working towards perfecting his craft; he's traveled all the way from rapping on the street, to house parties, the Apollo Theatre Unity Jam and finally to Philadelphia's clubs. In 2002 Ziz created Groovement Records, an independent record company, for which he hopes to release not only his material, but also music from other artists in the Philadelphia area. Ziz differentiates himself from most commercial Hip-Hop in that his music concentrates on everyday life, humor, love, romance and having fun, while still staying true to the roots of Hip-Hop.
