Ray Wright made a name for himself in New York City as a big band and studio orchestra arranger, primarily for Radio City Music Hall; and was one of the first educators to establish a jazz program at a major university. This vintage 1959 audiophile recording features the master arranger leading a big band with featured soloists Doc Severinsen, Don Butterfield, Jimmy Chambers and Will Bradley.
