Harry James
One of the most popular bandleaders of the first half of the 1940s, trumpeter Harry James was second only to Glenn Miller as the most successful recording artist of the early 1940's. Presented here is James' memorable recording of the classic Depression era hit, "Shine," given a complete makeover by one of the world's most inventive remixers, the ubiquitous DJ Spooky. DJ Spooky's remix has recently received quite a bit of airplay in the UK where it has become a featured song on the BAFTA award-winning British comedy chat show, the Paul O'Grady Show. Newly remastered.
