Somebody Loves Me
Vigs
A family band, the Vigs featured Hungarian born father Tommy Vig, who worked as a conductor, orchestrator and instrumental soloist for many of Las Vegas' top live acts. On the 1976 album, "Somebody Loves Me," Tommy plays multiple instruments, vibes and various percussion instruments; his Korean wife Mia, who was originally a featured soloist and arranger with lounge pioneer Esquivel, handles the vocal chores and their 4 year old son Roger plays drums on one track - the "Theme from S.W.A.T." An interesting jazz funk oddity, the album has become a collector's item over the years and is now finally available in the digital domain. All selections newly remastered.
