Electric bass player Daniel Romeo has distilled the best of funk and irresistible grooves for several years and knows, like no one, how to build a mega funky party while playing daring and surprising music. He also knows how to ignite with an unstoppable swing and communicate with his audience thanks to the elegant sound he

gives to his bass.

At 13, he is part of the Skyline group and meets his friends, pianist Eric Legnini and drummer Stéphane Galland. At the same time, he formed with the saxophonist Frank Deruytter a funk group that existed for seven years, Private Joy. He then joined the group of Paco Sery, drummer Joe Zawinul, who introduced him to the organist Eddy Louis with whom he would play. Daniel is also interested in the hip hop culture and recorded an album with DJ Cam, Soulshine, with some distinguished guests including Larry Blackmon (Cameo), Guru (Jazzmattaz),

China and others. He has accompanied Bernard Lavilliers in particular for several years and still today.
