Pehr Henrik Nordgre: Storm Fear
Nordgre / Groop / Kangas
The album features the second and third of Nordgren's piano concerts. The dramatic arc of the second concert is clear. Even more chilling is the third concert, the music follows the plot of the old Japanese horror story quite descriptively enough. Piano soloist Henri Sigfridsson achieves an emphatic and sonorously rich style for both concerts.
