The Danish singer and songwriter MØ had her major international breakthrough in 2015. This was due not least to the collaboration with Major Lazer and DJ Snake on the megahit "Lean On", which topped the charts in more than 10 countries. In November 2015, the song became the most streamed ever on Spotify and has since surpassed more than a billion streams.

But MØ had already been working on her music career for several years. Her interest in music began at an early age with the Spice Girls, but in her teenage years, she turned her attention to punk and alternative rock with Sonic Youth as one of her biggest inspirations.

An important early chapter in her career was the EP "Bikini Daze", where MØ collaborated with Diplo from Major Lazer and Ronni Vindahl, who has, among others, worked with Avicii and Kendrick Lamar. Upon its release, the EP was praised for MØ's willingness to challenge the conventions of pop music.

The four tracks became the launchpad for an impressive career, where MØ to this day has become one of the most important Danish pop stars with an international outlook, and who continues to explore the borderland between indie, electronic music, and pop.

"Bikini Daze" is now re-released as a limited edition gold-colored vinyl.
